On January 6, 2020, we deployed a change to the National Listings Aggregator that represents a feature change. In this release, we removed the compiled changelog of alerts that appears on the NLA system home page, as we believe this functionality is responsible for poor performance and home page timeouts. The alerts icon and icon counter remain in place and the icon hyperlink takes the user to the existing dedicated page within the NLA system, where the user can read the alerts in full.
Previously, the NLA home page alert icon delivered a drop-down of the 10 most recent alerts along with the counter and the link to the full page. We will monitor the application performance as a result of this change to determine whether the change adequately improves the application performance.
