The combination of channel and feed flag/play type determines if an air date consumes rights. You can see if the feed flag is rights consuming by the Counted field in BV when viewing air dates. If the Counted field is unchecked, then the air date does not consume a right.

Air dates and release dates will not be sent back to RL for non-rights consuming channels and air dates because the program is not scheduled. 

Note: The SIXPBS channel does not consume rights or air dates.
