Assigning Production Groups in Rightsline
Step
Action
- Navigate to Rightsline

Go to the deal , you can search by deal name

Check if external company record is associated in Rightsline on the deal/catalog.
Alert
Does Production Company have production units (eg WGBH Frontline)

Click on + sign to associate Producer.
5.
Associate Producer to the deal/catalog records.
Alert
Search for existing production units - Steps 6 -9 and association

click on the "All Contacts" field.

Click this checkbox

Click "Apply", Producer will be associated now.

If existing production unit doesn't exist - then create using Step 10 - 11

Click on Create New Contact and select "PBS Station Production Group" from the dropdown .

Add required fields on the contact and Click "Save".

Producer is associated to the deal .

Do not link the Production Group record to any Parent Company record, as user will have permissions based on this.
12.
In case you want to delete the existing contact and associate new one, follow steps 13- 14

Click on edit pencil.

Click on x to remove the contact.
15.
Now continue from step 6 to associate existing contact or create a new contact
