Definition:
Primary Spoken Language: Primary language spoken in the original work. (Only one language is acceptable.)
Secondary Language: Indicates the other languages spoken in the original work - not the primary language spoken in the original work. (Multiple languages are acceptable.)
Primary Spoken Language and Secondary Language are part of Episode, One-Time-Only, or Series in RL.
Please note PBS will not be using Original Language field moving forward; Primary Spoken Language and Secondary Languages will be used instead.
1. Navigate to https://app.rightsline.com and click on Catalog.
2. Open an existing program item or create a new catalog item. (Episode, One Time Only or Series)
3. Click 'Edit Details'
4. Select the Primary Spoken Language in the original work. Only one language is acceptable.
5. Select Secondary Languages in the original work. Multiple languages are acceptable.
6. Fill out the rest of the fields on the template as needed. Click "Save".
MBank is updated with the language values.
